Conventionally the approach to math education was breaking the beautiful discipline of mathematics down into manageable bits and pieces and then teaching students techniques to solve problems positioned around this granularity. This approach was born of the industrial era and is one of the many, many reasons why a mile wide, inch deep curricula still dominates today’s math classrooms and severely constrains the development of deep knowledge and the use of advanced pedagogy. 

We approach this challenge from the largest perspective, as we are interested in:
